Beyond Accessibility Standards
At Vision Loss Resources, we take pride in going above and beyond accessibility standards. After all, we are an organization committed to assisting our clients with vision loss. We also believe all companies should consider their accessibility within their spaces.
WayAround not only meets but exceeds our commitment to ensuring that all our attendees can participate fully in our classes and activities. Our introduction to WayAround allowed us to optimize the features of these tags, catering to people who use screen readers, rely on low-vision resources, and utilize refreshable braille displays. Inclusivity should extend beyond compliance, and with WayAround, we’re pushing the boundaries of what’s possible for our visually impaired community.
Empowering Learning
Education is a powerful tool that empowers individuals to reach their full potential. With WayAround tags in place, we are empowering our class attendees to navigate our building with confidence, enhancing their learning experience and fostering a sense of independence. Whether it’s locating a specific classroom, finding a resourceful area within the building, or accessing essential information, WayAround equips our attendees with the tools they need to engage fully in their learning journey.
“I found it to be a great way to get introduced to the building and get acclimated. I also know that it could be beneficial for apartments or houses, especially for identifying containers in your rooms.”
— James Almen, visually impaired Instructor
